Little Women
"Eagle's Little Women is packed with wonderful talent. The four March girls (Jo, Meg, Beth and Amy) are cast from four leading lady quality actors/singers; Maggie Griffin-Smith, Victoria Mozitis, Colleen Murphy and Kimberly Suskind; each with their own desires and destinies and wonderfully portrayed." -Broadway World Kiss Me, Kate "Colleen Murphy (as Lois Lane/Bianca) added her remarkable vocals to the show. Many of the lyrics she sang contained dual meanings and she varied her tone to express these changes. Ms. Murphy delivered a striking rendition of the archly titled “Always True to You""-Kevin Stephany Gypsy "Ms. Murphy is excellent in her role as June...Both sisters have beautiful voices." -Patricia Parvin |
The Women
"Colleen Murphy’s well-played and cunningly conceived Crystal Allen speaks well for the woman who sees a chance to raise her social status...Colleen Murphy creates a new image of Crystal from the one forged by Joan Crawford in the 1939 movie. She is as crafty but less crass...Murphy makes that clear in a way that makes Crystal likeable, even in her dismissal of Stephen’s daughter, Little Mary." -NealsPaper Next to Normal "I have saved what I consider the true jewel of this gem-studded cast for last. There is not a single moment from curtain to curtain when I doubt that Colleen Murphy as Natalie Goodman is anything but the tormented teenage daughter of a bi-polar mother. When she sings, when she talks, when she blinks her eyes, she is real and present with an emotional onstage range which is almost scary." -Terry Stern, Stage Magazine |
